the room was spacious it had a jacuzzi bath the lighting system was excellent breakfast was tasty and plentiful the staff was very helpful i enjoyed the complimentary mulled wine and mince pies upon arrival. the christmas decorations created a cozy feel the staff were very pleasant drinks at the bar were great everything was trimmed tastefully.

The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice.
Upon arrival the hotel did not seem luxurious. The room was clean BUT room cleaning was not done after the first night. Fresh towels were left outside the door on day two, though dirty ones were not removed.

An emergency kit was available in the wardrobe. It contained a needle, thread, and a shoe horn. Robes and slippers were available in the room. These were welcome comforts. The hotel had an area near the bar. It was comfortable for evening drinks.

A good choice of main dishes was available at breakfast. breakfast regulars. The breakfast filled me until teatime, i didn't need lunch. Flasks of milk were available in the evening for hot drinks.

The bathroom had a separate shower and a spa bath with a tv. The bed provided a comfortable night's sleep as it was quiet. Bottled water was also supplied, WHICH i appreciated.
